Day Popular Beliefs |
| Everyone
believes something. Whether it is formalized or not is secondary.
However, every person including the most die-heart atheist
has a belief system. Strawberry Views is no exception to
this rule. Our convictions and beliefs seek to be in accord
with the basic tenets of the historic Biblical Christian
Faith. We do not claim to have the entire body of truth
but as we discover false belief and/or error we endeavor
to rectify it. We are not bound by traditionalism, legalism
nor rigid sectarianism. |

From
time to time material will be added to this section that will
cover the beliefs of some of the ancient religions of the
world such as Buddhism, Hinduism. Sikhism and others. There
will also be articles dealing with some of the modern day
cults such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Science
and Mind groups, etc. In addition we will have articles on
fundamentalism, some of the denominations that you may or
may not know of, and kindred subjects.

Our
purpose will not be to lambaste other religious groups,
but to inform the Biblical Christian. It is vital that those
of us who believe and take the Bible to be the God-breathed
(inspired) written Word of God know what we believe and
why we believe as we do. It is our hope that this material
will wet your appetite to dig deeper into the Bible to know
what Scripture truly teaches so that you may take the exhortation
of the apostle Peter seriously, “But
in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared
to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason
for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness
and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who
speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may
be ashamed of their slander.” (1 Peter 3:15-16) |
